If you would like to help with the running of the lighthouse and maintain it for future generations, please consider becoming one of the Friends of Leasowe Lighthouse. Your membership fee will go towards the many costs of keeping the lighthouse open to the public and if you would like to be more \u201chands on\u201d we are always in need of more volunteers. \u00a0There is always fundraising to be done, but behind the scenes there is constant marketing and planning activity involving liaison with numerous bodies such as Wirral Council and specialists in restoration. The guides and caf\u00e9 staff who look after visitors on Open Days are all Friends of Leasowe Lighthouse, as are those who give up their weekdays to show the numerous school groups around.<\/p>\r\n

We welcome new volunteers, but even if you can\u2019t help as a volunteer please consider joining as a member for just \u00a310 a year, for which you will receive occasional updates about the lighthouse. \u00a0If you would like a Committee Member to contact you regarding volunteering in any capacity, please tick the relevant box on the Membership Form.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Membership is just \u00a310 per year for an individual and \u00a335 for a school or organisation.<\/p>\r\n
